Here are the guidelines for preparing for and caring for your cosmetic tattooing:
Before Your Appointment:
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen, fish oil supplements, and any other blood thinners for 24 hours prior to your appointment, and refrain from intense exercise.
- Do not undergo brow services such as waxing, henna, tinting, lamination, threading, or tweezing for 14 days.
- Ensure there are no antibiotics in your system for at least 2 weeks.
- If you have had chemotherapy or radiation, wait at least 6 months and provide a doctor's note.
- Refrain from active skincare or skin treatments for 10 days, avoiding acids, peels, vitamin C, and exfoliants, except hyaluronic acid.
- Avoid retinol, vitamin A, or tretinoin for 8 weeks prior to your first session, and avoid using them until 2 weeks after your follow-up appointment.
- Do not sunbathe, self-tan, or undergo any tanning for 2 weeks before your appointment.
- Avoid Botox, filler, or other cosmetic procedures for 3 weeks prior to your appointment.
-If applicable, email photos of previously tattooed brows or lips prior to booking.
Day of Appointment:
- Stay hydrated and eat a good meal beforehand, but avoid caffeine.
- Wear comfortable clothing and bring earbuds if you'd like.
- Bring a reference photo of your desired brows.
- Arrive 10 minutes early to fill out necessary paperwork, which will be emailed to you the morning of.
During Your Appointment:
- Numbing products will be used, but some clients may still experience sensitivity.
- Individuals allergic to topical numbing products can opt for the procedure without them.
- Delicate or sensitive skin may appear red or swollen afterward.
- Please refrain from wearing perfume or bringing guests.
After Your Appointment:
- Do not wash the area for 5 hours post-procedure.
-Dab gently using sterile gauze.
- Cleanse the area gently as instructed, using provided soap or toner followed by aftercare balm.
- Wash the brows separately from the rest of your face.
- Avoid direct sunlight, swimming, sauna, excessive exercise, and hot showers/steam until healing is complete.
- Do not pick or pull at scabs or dry skin.
- Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid face sleeping.
- Follow all aftercare instructions provided, using only recommended products.
